St. Lucie River Power Squadron offers classroom courses on Boating Safety taught by experienced instructors. Individuals completing our 2-day America’s Boating Course 3rd Edition (ABC3) course will earn the Florida Boating Safety ID Card issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).

If you operate a boat or watercraft with a motor of 10 HP or greater, and were born on or after Jan. 1, 1988, you are required to complete a boater education course approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA).
The Nationally Certified America’s Boating Course 3rd Edition is recognized by the U.S. Coast Guard and approved by NASBLA. The ABC3 course includes a 270 page Student Manual. Most insurance companies offer discounts to boaters who complete the ABC3 course.
The St. Lucie River Power Squadron® is a unit of the United States Power Squadrons® www.USPS.org and member of District 8 in Southeast Florida. Our Squadron is open to boating enthusiasts throughout Martin and St. Lucie counties.
